Smokers in Ilfracombe with a New Year’s resolution to quit are being offered a helping hand, thanks to a new clinic which started this month.
The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has today announced that Ilfracombe has been successful in its bid to pilot 'Neighbourhood-level Community Budgets'.
When Ilfracombe Town Council adopted its 10 year strategic plan in January 2010, one of the key areas it highlighted for support was the High Street acknowledging its importance to the economy and tourism offer of the town. Along with its partners, ITC is now investigating a package of measures by which it aims to regenerate the High Street and support its traders in providing a quality, unique shopping experience
Plough and Share credit union is delighted to announce that it is seeking volunteers to run a new service point in Ilfracombe at the Ilfracombe Centre, High Street.
At the Extraordinary meeting held on Thursday 29th September 2011, Mr Peter Rawle gained an absolute majority of votes and was co-opted onto Ilfracombe Town Council to fill the West Ward vacancy.
