Mayor Geoff Fowler presents the final Good Citizen Awards of his mayoral year on Tuesday 5th May in the Ilfracombe Centre and all are invited to attend.
The housing and homelessness charity Shelter is the latest partner to come under the umbrella of services provided at The Ilfracombe Centre.
With an estimated 75,000 homes being repossessed this year, housing worries top the list of concerns for many in the current economic crisis and this service will be another vital support for local people.
There's more to being the Mayor of Ilfracombe than the squeaky-clean tasks of chairing council meetings and attending civic occasions, as three town mayors demonstrated at the weekend.
