The Digital Switchover Roadshow arrives at The Ilfracombe Centre on Friday 27th February and organisers will be around most of the day and evening to ensure everyone will get a chance to have their digital questions answered.
Ilfracombe Seafront proposals took a step closer to reality this week, when the first meeting of the Steering Group took place in the Ilfracombe Centre. First order of business was to elect a chair and Ilfracombe Town Councillor John Swan was elected to the post by a unanimous vote. The Steering Group consists of North Devon Council members and officers as well as key stakeholders including seafront businesses, tourist attractions, Ilfracombe Museum and North Devon Theatres.
Adding to the ever-expanding list of services that the public can access at The Ilfracombe Centre is the energy advice organisation Healthier Homes North Devon.
From now on there will be a resident energy advice specialist based at the Centre who will be available to members of the public who would like advice on how to increase the energy efficiency of their home, reduce fuel bills and help to access grants.
