After a long career in the healthcare industry my wife Helen and I moved to Ilfracombe in 2003 and bought a small hotel which we sold in 2006. I was also responsible for the local Tourism Association's publicity and for promoting Ilfracombe to potential tourists through the Ilfracombe Guide and its new internet website.
I believe Ilfracombe has tremendous potential to be a cleaner, safer and more prosperous town for both its residents and visitors. As an enthusiastic resident of the town I would now like to use my energy, local and international business experience to make Ilfracombe a better place for all of us.
