Ilfracombe Small Grant Applications 2010/11
The Town Council is pleased to invite applications for Small Finance Grants (up to a maximum of £500) from Community and Charitable organizations within the Town.

Closing Date for Applications
17th September 2010 (no consideration will be given to applications received after this date).
Advice on other sources of funding can be found via the North Devon District Council website and Devon County Council.
Applications will only be considered if they are supplied with a copy of your organisations’ accounts, which must be signed by someone with proven financial ability, although not necessarily professionally audited. New organisations must submit a cashflow forecast for the coming year together with a recent bank statement.
All applications will be discussed by the Finance & General Purpose Committee and recommendations made in November 2010. These recommendations will be considered at a meeting of the full Town Council. Any resultant funding will be made available in January 2011.
It is Ilfracombe Town Council’s aim is to promote and encourage ‘Pride in Ilfracombe’ through:
- Active citizenship
- Community involvement
- Fostering local talent and skills
- Green, clean and safe town
- Regeneration and Development for the benefit of all residents to create a vibrant town
- Social inclusivity and preventing social isolation
Only those applications that meet the Council’s stated aims will be considered.
Please Note
Ilfracombe Town Council has limited funds to make community grants and we receive many more applications than we are able to support. Small grants will not exceed £500. If your organisation or project needs funds in excess of this amount, you may consider contacting North Devon Council's Community Grants Department for advice on other sources of external funding. Details of award-making bodies (e.g. Big Lottery) and grant-giving charities can also be found on the NDC website and Devon County Council website.
