Council Officers and Staff
Pauline Williams is our Finance and Office Manager as well as Responsible Financial Officer of Ilfracombe Town Council. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the town council and its meetings and keeps a keen eye on budgets.
Andrea Beacham is our Ilfracombe Centre Manager as well as Proper Officer of Ilfracombe Town Council. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of The Ilfracombe Centre and deals with the council’s press and media enquiries.
Celia Redmore and Hannah McDonald are our front-line team and usually your first point of contact at The Ilfracombe Centre. They will always endeavour to help you with your enquiry or at least put you in touch with somebody who can.
Clive Denham is the new Hygiene Operative for Ilfracombe Town Council. You will see him around Ilfracombe helping to ensure our streets are litter free and supplementing North Devon Council’s Greensweep team. If you see him out and about, please feel free to let him know about any litter issues you know of in the town, and he will make sure they are reported to the relevant people.
Richard Rodd keeps the Ilfracombe Centre well-maintained and spotless. He is usually there to welcome visitors who have booked evening and weekend meetings and has an ever-cheery disposition!

The Ilfracombe Centre
The Ilfracombe Centre is a new and exciting development from the Ilfracombe Town Council. The Centre connects council, community and voluntary services enabling residents to access current, comprehensive and accurate advice under one roof.
Staff at the Centre will do their best to answer your questions and give advice on a range of subjects. We may not always know the answer, but we will always endeavour to put you in touch with someone that does.
Visitors to the Centre who prefer, can access council and other services via internet points or freephone telephone numbers.
We also offer a range of surgeries including those of:
- Ward Councillors
- Community Police
- Jobcentre Plus
- Local MP
Surgeries and opening times are subject to change in line with customer demand, please ask a member of staff for latest details.
